Obama is charming. He promises change for America. But he also promises death for thousands of unborn and BORN babies in America.

Thank you so much for posting this. I am heartbroken and shocked...seals the deal for me and helps me know how to pray.
Pray for Obama as well. Whether he is the president or not, he will be an influential leader in the US for years to come. He may not be unabashedly pro-life, but he has stated he wants to reduce the number of abortions. That could save more babies then waiting for a supreme court justice to retire and hoping for Roe v. Wade to get overturned. Obama could propose that whether he were senator or president.
In response to the anonymous poster: I completely agree, we need to be praying for Obama and his national influence regardless of whether or not he wins the presidential election.
However, I do not believe that he wants to reduce the number of abortions. If he did indeed say that, he is pandering to a certain audience to win votes. I also saw an interview with Relevant Magazine in which he tried to paint himself in a middle-of-the-road position on abortion. It reeks of political rhetoric and telling every audience what it wants to hear, regardless of his true personal moral convictions. Neither of these examples mesh with what he told a group of Planned Parenthood supporters:
"He promised at a Planned Parenthood event in July 2007 that “the first thing” he will do as president — his top priority for the nation — is sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would erase every federal and state restriction on abortion, no matter how modest. His top priority, again, is to re-legalize partial birth abortion under all circumstances, abolish all laws on informed consent and parental notification, and eliminate all state restrictions on taxpayer funding of abortions."
This is quoted directly from an article in the National Review, a very reputable publication. The bottom line is that his record speaks, no matter what he says to potential voters on the campaign trail.
