is it still camp if you are able to blog?

I am lying here on my camp bunk blogging away on my iPhone. These are strange times we live in!

Today has been mostly good at camp. I admit that I was tempted to pack up the crew and head home after a rough night getting the kids to sleep and then a very early start today (thank you, maggie). And then when Max flipped a chair over backwards and did a face plant on the dining room floor at lunch, I really began to wonder if family camp was a little too ambitious for us this year. (Max got a SERIOUS battle wound from the event: a huge pump knot the size of an egg smack in the middle of his forhead!)

After weathering those two ordeals, camp is looking up. Tonight Lucas played capture the flag, and I had one of those good-for-the-soul conversations with friends where you nearly laugh yourself to tears. Good times.

I'd to get your thoughts about the answer to your original question..."is it camp if you are able to blog?" I work at an association of Christian camps and we are encountering this more and more with camps trying to walk that fine line between embracing technology and shunning it. What do you think? Did the ability to blog take away from the "purity" of family camp for you?
