Maggie: Mom, I need a little bag of money. That way, if there's an emergency or something... you know, like if my dad dies or something, I will still be able to go to Cherry Berry even if there is an emergency. I will just have my bag of money and I can just pay.

Conversations with Max

Max:  Mom, how long until I have enough money to buy the LEGO Death Star?

Me: I'm not going to lie to you, buddy. It's going to be a really long time before you could save that much money. In fact, by the time you saved that much money, you'll probably want to buy a car instead.
Max: I can just drive this car.
Me: If you drive this car, what will I drive?
Max: You'll just stay home. By that time you'll be really old anyway.

Max: Mom, I've been thinking about something
Me: Oh, yeah? Whatcha been thinking about?
Max: I've been thinking about this: That we could not have been God.
Me: That's true. Why do you think we could not have been God?
Max: Because we were made.
