Alexander is 9 months old. He weighs 18 lbs. 13 oz. and is 28 inches long. He's eating all kinds of fruits and vegetables and grains now... including his sister's peanut butter sandwich, which he dowedn in about 5 seconds last week when she accidentally set it down a little too close to baby brother's eager hands!
At his 9 month check-up yesterday, the pediatrician told us to "encourage opportunities for physical activity." ... probably because he's not crawling, pulling up or trying to achieve mobility yet. I just laughed and told her that he is right on course for a Roebuck baby. He'll probably decide to take those first steps right about 14 months just like his brother and sister... or maybe he'll surprise us and tackle that milestone sooner.
